It is a non-smoking restaurant and welcomes children.
It currently holds two AA rosettes, it has been voted by Zagat 2014 as 5th best French bistro in London, holds two forks and knives on Michelin guide.

Very slow service 1 hour wait for first course and at least 30 mins before main. Lack of choice no Guinea Fowl venison sole available.. chateaubriand was tasteless. I suspect cooked from frozen.Staff pleasant but a very disappointing experience. Not inclined to return. Sorry

Pretty disappointing experience. Very average aperitifs. For a “french” restaurant the bread served on the table was very poor. Would have been unacceptable in France. It was also dumped on the table and the waiter said over his shoulder as he rushed off “that’s anchovy butter yeah”. Food was pretty underwhelming. Very bland velouté. Took 45 minutes to arrive. Over cooked monkfish.

The Vacherin simply gets better and better. Latest menu really interesting. So many appealing dishes decisions were hard!! Staff excellent as ever - perfect blend of professionalism humour and warmth. Super wine list at excellent prices. Le Vacherin is an absolute gem - and all this for less than the cost of a ‘so so’ ‘gastropub’ meal

This restaurant is intimate but absolutely wonderful. The service was fantastic and our matre d was very attentive and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious and greatly presented. Definitely will be eating here again.

We opted for a 5-course menu, all of which was superb aside from an underseasoned velouté as the amuse bouche. The mains (ox cheek and a sea bass) were really great cookery. Standout was the warm, attentive, efficient service by a great front of house team.
