Le DeSales, a restaurant located in South Dupont, across the street from the historic Mayflower Hotel. Upon reopening in December, Michelin-starred Chef Raphael François has brought back his most popular dishes while teaming with award winning Sushi Master Noriaki Yasutake (formally SEI Restaurant) presenting French/Asian cuisine, including a full sushi menu (signature Fish and Chips Roll) in an informal, cozy, and romantic setting. The specialized wine list includes diversified appellations encompassing regions as unexpected as Macedonia and Portugal, with a concise focus on France, Italy, and California. Also offering a sake menu and selections of Japanese Whiskeys. Le DeSales is available for large parties, semi-private events, and buyouts. Outdoor seating is available, weather permitting.
No reservation is needed for Happy Hour. Please walk in and one of our friendly staff will find you a spot.

The Bar area operates on first come first serve basis and our staff will do our best to find you a seat.

Great service at the bar. We ordered mostly from daily specials… ingredients were high quality and preparations were excellent. Appreciated unusual combinations.

All 3 members of our party enjoyed dinner. Fish and Frites - good. Bavette steak - good. Fish and Chips Roll - good. I especially enjoyed the slightly spicy frites. Wednesday night after work and the restaurant was full and quite noisy.

Everything I’ve eaten from the menu has been delicious and memorable. Kudos to the chef. The noise level however between 12:30 and 2p and 5:30 and 8p makes any conversation difficult. The tables for two next to the padded room divider are the only places where you can hear your companion and be heard without yelling. I’ve never been seated on the bar side or on the outside patio.

The food was amazing, and I was the hero of my group for choosing the restaurant! Everyone was impressed. The place was packed and it was quite noisy, but nobody else seemed bothered by that.

Food and service were excellent! My only comment would be it was quite loud so hard for our group to talk to everyone at the table. We will definitely go back!!
