L’ ATELIER is inspired by childhood memories of home-cooked meals at the owner’s grandmother's farm.
Food lovers, we are a steakhouse " à la Française,” where a chalkboard menu highlights local fish & world’s class meats from France and beyond including USDA Prime Black Angus, Japanese Wagyu (Kobe and Kagoshima), Australian Wagyu beef, Iberico black pig, free-range lamb, duck, and dry-aged Black Pearl beef.
From the ocean, try our Kihada tuna steak of sashimi quality, mahi-mahi as fresh ceviche or crusted with fresh herbs, and our lobster linguini in a homemade creamy lobster bisque.
Vegetarian friends, you haven’t been forgotten and try our vegetarian risotto prepares minute just for you.
Our cocktails are crafted by our skilled mixologist, and our wine list features over 70 varieties.
Make sure to leave room for L’Atelier's signature dessert or the Chef’s special dessert.
This unique venue welcomes family and friends from Monday to Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

This was our third time eating here this week and it never disappoints! Our servers, Margot and Jerome were super attentive. We got our food in a timely manner but not rushed and our water and wine glasses were never empty. Alex and his staff create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all of their guests both for new and returning patrons. Highly recommend to all!

The service was excellent and the meal was even better. A must visit when staying on the island. The owner Alexandre takes the time to visit each table and explain his excellent menu.

A wonderful anniversary dinner! The food was amazing as well as the atmosphere. Everyone in the restaurant was happy and enjoying their meals. We dined here in 2022 and have talked about our meals here ever since. We were very happy to return tonight. Wonderful flavors, ambiance and service await. The bruschetta of bone marrow and poached egg appetizers are deeply delicious, our meat mains were prepared with care allowing flavors to shine. The little village of Orient Bay offers numerous food choices, L’Atelier is a standout worthy of your hungry belly.

Had a great experience with my wife on our honeymoon! The owner was extremely nice and passionate about his restaurant. Introduced himself and walked us through the menu. The service was exceptionally great, refills dirty plates being removed everything in a timely manner. the food was off the charts, i didn’t even understand all that i was eating but it was good. The atmosphere was soothing and relaxing we went in the evening and we loved the ambiance. Def recommend.

For the last number of years when on the Island, we make a point of going to L’Atelier. This would be my third, maybe fourth visit, and it does not disappoint. The food is prepared & presented with much care and thought. Our group of six had an amazing evening. Margaux was our server and she was so delightful. Mark this restaurant on your list!

This is a food destination for the discriminating diner. Each of the entrees was personalized y the owner with a loving presentation of the origins of the food, the sources and it did not disappoint. Nice to find a Michelin level restaurant on SXM.
