We were seated near the front door and because of 30 degree temps I was freezing. When asked to be moved our server was gracious and did so at once. The specialty drinks were good but an old standby, in this case a Vesper, was mediocre at best. The starters were great (eggplant, artichoke hearts), and dinner was really good (lasagna and veal piccata). Desserts were standard and good, though we should probably have skipped them. Overall, a very pleasant dinner and we will definitely return.

This is our second visit to LaScala. Our server was Kathryn and it was the same person from my last visit in Dec 2024. Drinks, appetizers, entrees, and ambiance at LaScala are Awesome. This are the reasons, we chose to drive for 1 hour 10 minute and have lunch at LaScala. Plenty of choices for vegetarians. The food is fresh, clean (not greasy), nicely presented. The restaurant ceiling is high, all walls and tables are white in color and you simply feel that you are having food in a different country. Great experience!

The only negative was that we were a bit cold, but we were there when they opened and perhaps the heat wasn’t totally up yet. Also, I think we may like it warmer than others. To be fair it is a very cold day outside today.

Our waitress was very attentive . We sat at a high top near the bar so it was noisy but fun! Happy hour has great prices

Food was beautifully presented and as tasty as it was delightful to look at. Our server was terrific. Restaurant is gorgeous. Definitely will go again!

Kathryn was our server. She was cheerful, warm and welcoming. She was very attentive and helpful. Parmigiano Arichoke was crispy and awesome. Wine list was nice! It was a great business lunch at LaScala's Fire - Villanova.
