Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails is Mills area’s newest dining and nightlife concept. Playfully yet eloquently named, Lamp & Shade Craft Kitchen and Cocktails got its inspiration from the idea to ‘hangout and throw some shade in conversation’ while paying homage to the history of its building, previously The Lamp Shade Fair, well-known by locals for over 50 years.

The Asian-influenced tapas style menu showcases seasonal and local provisions of the Orlando community in innovative dishes that Executive Chef for Thriving Hospitality, Ryan Stewart, has meticulously developed.

Lamp & Shade's comprehensive beverage program features riffs on tiki classics tying back to the influential Asian roots of cocktails, pairing nicely with Chef’s selection of Asian inspired faire.

We had a wonderful New Years Eve experience! Will be thinking about the caesar salad bites for days they are so good! Will definitely be back :)

Great atmosphere, really cool art and design. The service was excellent and the food was portioned well with a great variety. The server did a good job of explaining portions and suggesting the right amount for our party of 3. Nice out of town restaurant to start off our NYE!

Our experience was good overall. The food was great. And our server was very attentive. We didn’t like though that we were basically told at a certain time we needed to get up and leave for other reservations, even though there were tons of tables not occupied at the time. Very disappointing. I felt very rushed.

Mixed Drinks were extremely anemic. Very disappointing. Service was very good. Food was very good. But bar took forever to serve and the place was only half full.

The brunch experience was better. The menu for dinner is less creative although the food was good. Wait staff was very nice but clearly they staff was not managing a party and regular service at the same time very well at all. Not a terrible experience but not worth the money spent.

Fabulous food and service. But extremely loud. Dinner with friends and was shouting the entire evening. The food was amazing and service was perfect.

The food was great. Loved the ambiance and thought the noise was going to be a bit loud initially but was pleasantly surprised we didn’t have to raise our voices to talk across the table. We had the noodles, the Ceaser salad bites, short ribs, and mussels. Every dish was actually very good, but the Ceaser salad bites were our fav top two.
