Nice place. Small but with good vibes. Good service dining room and bar . You need to try perfect for a date or simple dinner. Try it and then draw your conclusions!!

Great experience at this restaurant. We ended adding a person last minute to our reservation and they made it happen! Food was delicious and prices were very good. I will tell all my friends and family to dine at Lala when in San Diego.

We loved everything about LaLa! We has a group of 10 and our server did a great job taking care of us. The food was absolutely amazing! Incredible flavor and unique dishes that our group loved. Thr restaurant itself was so cute and fun. I loved the shoe wall! My only comment was that it was very loud since it was packed, but it was still wonderful. We will definitely come back next time we are in town. Thank you!

Service very good, very pricey for what u got and for amount u got,music extremely loud but we asked them to turn it down and they did. Ambience very nice. Drinks also very pricey. Would not go back

The restaurant is very cute! It’s a good vibe. The food can be a little better. We got the spicy Cesar salad. It was a bit soggy. We also got the handkerchief pesto pasta. It was okay. The drink menu looks promising with a lot of choices.

Bad experience due to bad service. Our waiter was rude and condescending. When my friend ordered a glass of house cabernet the waiter rolled his eyes and scoffed and made a comment about my friend wanting that wine. When I ordered as noted in menu the fettuccine with truffles, waiter asked me 3x if I wanted that. I confirmed yes, but he asked if I understood the price. Then 3 entrees came out but not my wife's gnocchi. Waiter said the kitchen lost the plate. We waited 15mins for her plate to come out meanwhile our food got cold as we waited for her food. I had asked for bread and at first he said they had not bread. Then he said they had a baguette but it would cost extra. I said that was fine. He brought the bread with late entrée and said he would not charge us for bread. Wow so gracious. At the end of dinner he asked if everything was OK and my wife commented that her food coming so late was an issue. Waiter got defensive and said it was not his fault and that's why he comped the bread. We paid and did not eat dessert there. Waiter was thin, Italian speaking guy with bad teeth. Place was small but quaint. Food was ok nothing amazing, just bad service. We won't be coming back.
