BYO curry house serving Pakistani cuisine. Established in 1995, Lahore Karahi is a family-run restaurant. Despite the complexity of our dishes, our recipe for a great evening is simple: mouth-watering food, a lively atmosphere and close friends. Because we don’t just want to make great curry, no – we want our food to bring people together.

And we think it does. When you come to Lahore Karahi on any given evening, you’ll hear friends laughing, glasses clinking and food sizzling. For us, that’s mission accomplished. If that sounds like your kind of evening, then you know where to find us.

When it comes to London curry houses, our name has been dropped in a number of top-ten lists (a top-five too, actually), but we don’t like to rest on our laurels – we’d rather you come and taste for yourself. We make food that’s quick, flavourful and affordable, so whether you want to stop by for a sit-down meal or grab a takeaway, we’re certain we’ll be seeing you again.

However, on this visit the portion sizes were very small and despite having booked a table (which gives a 2 hour slot), we were asked to leave promptly after finishing after about 1 hour. We weren't even asked if we would like deserts. I would go again because the food is great, but the service took away from the meal experience.

Food was ok and nothing special, but good value. A couple of things came out and were cold though. Tables are crammed in chairs literally back to back and it’s very noisy making conversation difficult. It’s a restaurant with no frills. Would I eat there again? Not in a hurry. Would I recommend to friends and family? No.

Good selections for vegetarians as well. Staff were very helpful with menu queries. We went at 3:30 so wasn't very busy and had a very relaxed dining experience. The staff assisted with the birthday cake with kindness and care and willingness to make the birthday celebration a little extra special. Our table was next to the window which gave a great view of the outside. Inside was warm. Our second time here. Would definitely return and maybe try their mix grill. Many thanks to all the staff for a wonderful dining experience.

Service a bit slapdash.. we ordered starters and main course but everything came at once.. which on a small table was not a great idea for 4 people. Staff very busy and some fairly grumpy..
