An EXCELLENT New Years Eve dinner!! Starting with a shared Caprese appetizer, scratch made Italian bread with olive oil, vinegar, and fresh parmesan and a glass of Cabernet, we had the scratch made stuffed hells with spicy Italian Sausage baked in fantastic tomato sauce special and the poached sea bass with ravioli special. They were delicious! So much so that we skipped desert and took 3 of the 5 baked shells home for another meal or side. We have dined here a half dozen times in both the old and new location and NEVER disappointed.

Coming from restaurants in Staten Island and Brooklyn, I know good Italian food. Virtually since they opened in Scottsdale about 22 years ago, soon after I had moved here, La Torretta has been my go-to Italian restaurant. The food is excellent (on a par with the former, famed New Corners in Bklyn, albeit with a more limited menu), and the interaction with owner Darius, and with Tom, adds to the enjoyable dinner. Friend and relatives I have introduced to La Torretta love it as much as I do. If you love good Italian food and have not been to La Torretta definitely give it a shot.

We have loved La Torretta since we first discovered them in 2021. Even though it’s quite a drive from where we live, it’s more than worth it for the terrific food and service we always receive. It is absolutely a family feel there and we are thankful to have found it!

All 4 meals were delicious. The service was great! We never felt rushed as we all enjoyed our meal. We look forward to frequented La Torretta.

It’s not a big space with about a dozen tables and a bar area. Ambience is so-so. Interior could use a few decor enhancements. However, the food is excellent, large portions at very reasonable prices. Waiters are friendly and attentive. We had the lasagna, veal parmigiana, bolognese, and the pesto linguine with shrimp. Everything was wonderful. A nice relaxed neighborhood gem.

I don’t even know where to start. I guess with the appetizer of meatballs my wife & I chose. The most tender & flavor loaded meatballs we’ve had. I wish I could get a Christmas stocking full of them. On this evening my wife had the Veal Marsala & I ordered the Veal Parmesan. Both dishes flavor depth was amazing. Both of us ended up sharing are dishes they were so delicious!!!! Everything we have had so far here, is way over the top, that we can’t wait for our next experience. Did I mention how great the service is. They make you feel like you’re their only customer, so personalized. The drinks would be hard to beat anywhere. If you want outstanding dishes, this is where you want to be. We eat out all over the world & La Torretta is at the top.
