Nestled in the far corner of the Maho Resort complex, La Rosa is a familiar haunt for Locals and visitors-in the-know.

Consistent top-quality Italian food with a Caribbean flair, served by a prompt, friendly staff in an attractive atmosphere has kept them coming back for Conch au gratin, Spicy Fisherman's Soup, Ossobuco, Veal Milanese, fine wines, fresh seafood, hand-cut steaks and the daily chef specials.

I somehow get the sense that the chef/cook didn't show up that night.. After ordering it took 1.5 hours to be served. My husband's lasagna didn't even look or taste like lasagna. My chicken marsala was swimming in oil and so salty I couldn't eat it. I have had that dish before and it was delicious! They offered to take it back but I didn't have another hour plus to wait! Two other diners with us said their dinners were ok. They didn't charge us for the lasagna but did charge for the chicken marsala. Not sure if we will return to give them another try...

The night at La Rosa was a special night as we were celebrating my partner's birthday as well as our engagement. La Rosa was the PERFECT setting for both! Quiet, elegantly simple, excellent food and service.

Service atroce. 15 minutes d’attente avant d’avoir notre table malgré une réservation sans se faire offrir un verre au bar. Nous avons commandé une entrée qui est arrivé 30 minutes plus tard. Après 2h, et notre plat principal pas arrivé, nous avons quitté en payant ce que nous avons consommé.

Food was ok...Service was terrible. Beyond slow. Needless to say our food was cold. We had made a reservation (Valentine's Day) and we still waited almost an hour for a table. They were obviously understaffed for the occasion. Very disappointed.

Party of 4, 6:30pm. After being seated, we waiting almost 30 minutes for them to take our drink order. Seeing what was coming, we also put in our food order at the same time. We finally were served at 8:45pm.
