Este establecimiento sirve almuerzo, cena y brunch dominical. Este bonito restaurante de cocina de Louisiana moderna se encuentra en la calle Magazine y cuenta con el chef Justin Devillier, ganador del premio James Beard. El nombre La Petite Grocery rinde homenaje a la historia del edificio, de más de 1 siglo. La estructura original fue construida a finales del siglo XIX, y se llamaba Central Tea, Coffee and Butter Depot. En 1908, un incendio devastó el local, que fue convertido en una completa tienda de alimentación, y hasta 1982 fue Fine Foods de Vonderhaar, una carnicería y tienda de alimentos de calidad superior. Cuando La Petite Grocery abrió en marzo de 2004, también aspiraba a proporcionar al barrio tés exóticos, productos frescos y café tostado en la zona. El objetivo es ofrecer una experiencia culinaria que evoque la Nueva Orleans de antes.

One of the best lunches we had in along time! Food was excellent and I even had a chance to try a new soup I never heard of before. Service was on point and they recognized our anniversary and my husband’s Birthday. We will be back again next time we are in NOLA. We understand why the Chef is a five time James Beard Award Winner!

One of our favorite lunch spots that never disappoints! Best bees knees cocktail to start! Chef’s pate treat was so delicious we asked for more! Crab beignets are always a must and the roasted beets were a treat with crawfish on top! We went with the tuna this time and it was great too!

We had Lucy as our server, and she was awesome. La Petite employs the team service effort with all servers helping each other out, which is great for the patron. The blue crab beignets were delicious. I also tried the gumbo, and with the smoke flavor mixed in, it was the best I ever had. My main course was the panned rabbit, which was very tasty. My wife and son loved their dishes also. It is an awesome place about 20 minutes outside the French Quarter in Uptown.

We had an amazing lunch there - we sat at the bar and the bartender couldn’t have been nicer! We loved everything - the beet salad, the rabbit and turtle bolognese were delicious!
