Este establecimiento sirve almuerzo, cena y brunch dominical. Este bonito restaurante de cocina de Louisiana moderna se encuentra en la calle Magazine y cuenta con el chef Justin Devillier, ganador del premio James Beard. El nombre La Petite Grocery rinde homenaje a la historia del edificio, de más de 1 siglo. La estructura original fue construida a finales del siglo XIX, y se llamaba Central Tea, Coffee and Butter Depot. En 1908, un incendio devastó el local, que fue convertido en una completa tienda de alimentación, y hasta 1982 fue Fine Foods de Vonderhaar, una carnicería y tienda de alimentos de calidad superior. Cuando La Petite Grocery abrió en marzo de 2004, también aspiraba a proporcionar al barrio tés exóticos, productos frescos y café tostado en la zona.                                                   Le Petit Grocery is a classic New Orleans restaurant. It is great for lunch with a friend or date night with my husband. It has wonderful ambience, food, and service. It is a favorite with locals and tourist alike. The specials are always so good.

                                                  There are very restaurants in New Orleans that compare. The food at LPG expresses deep and sincere reverence for Louisiana tradition without ever feeling stuck in time. The ingredients are top notch and flavors are bright and balanced. It's absolutely fine dining with the service to prove it, yet manages never to feel fussy or pretentious. It's cozy enough for a romantic dinner, and energetic enough for a celebration. We couldn't love it more.

                                                  The space is much bigger than it apears from the street, but it was still quiet. We appreciated that it was easy to have a conversation. The food was great; the beet salad was refreshing. We had reserved for a 60th birthday celebration and had asked for dessert to be brought out as a surprise; it came out with a candle and it was complimentary, which we were not expecting. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. La Petit Grocerie was a great choice for our special night out. Thank you!

                                                  I’ve always loved Le Petit Grocery and the ambience, drink and food are excellent. I have to say that my Shrimp and Grits was very, very greasy this time, absolutely swimming in bacon grease but that is so very unusual I have to think a chef trainee prepared it. The rest of my group had a wonderful meal and we all enjoyed ourselves.
