Ciao! Welcome to La Perla di Pompano, a cozy and family owned Italian restaurant in the heart of Pompano Beach.
We offer traditional Italian food. You will find dishes like homemade pastas including one of our customer favorites the seafood pasta and gnocchi della nonna, grilled octopus, veal marsala and chicken fiorentina. Don't forget about our traditional homemade desserts like tiramisù, limoncello cake, pistachio creme brulée, mini cannolis and profiteroles we are sure you will love! We also have gluten free and vegetarian options available.

    If you are not one of their “regulars”, beware. We live in northern NJ and know great Italian food and service. We were steered to simple items not on their menu and frankly overcharged. Beyond that, the place is really noisy, the service uneven, and our dishes were underwhelming.

    This is truly a gem of pompano beach. Delicious authentic Italian food with amazing and attentive staff. Our waiter Salvatore was top notch. Our favorites were the chicken parmigiana, fettuccine bolognese and polpettine con ricotta. NYC native, this place exceeded our expectations

    Great Italian Restaurant! Reservation required due to limited seating. Food was fabulous, very authentic and homemade. Staff was very attentive and professional. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

    Fantastic experience at La Perla. Started with calamari with shrimp and zucchini and the burrata with prosciutto. Outstanding in every way. The chef accommodated my request for chicken rather than veal saltimbocca. Fantastic! Gnocchi alla Nonna was also excellent. Service was wonderful. The owner was friendly and engaging. Highest recommendation. Can't wait to return!

    This beautiful little Italian restaurant was a lucky choice for us. We were greeted right away by a very personable waiter, and throughout our meal no service was overlooked or tardy. My friend and I both ordered the salmon with a lemon and caper sauce, the beet salad and a glass of their house Cabernet. The beet salad was a beautiful presentation of thinly sliced beat slices encircling a large plate and in the middle a little mound of arugula with some walnuts, sweet sections of orange, some dollops of Burrata cheese and the most delightful vinaigrette. After enjoying our salad, some bread from the bread basket, and a few sips of our Cabernet, the salmon arrived. The accompaniments were delicious, but the star of the show was the salmon. I believe it was poached, and with the lemon caper sauce was the most tender and flavorful salmon I've ever had! The portion size was very generous, and we both had a hard time finishing it. We were pressed for time so we didn't have an opportunity to select from their scrumptious dessert cart.  On the way home my friend and I couldn't stop talking about what a great dinner we had! So I would encourage you that if you are looking for a truly wonderful dining experience, that you definitely consider La Perla restaurant.

    This is a great restaurant in every respect. Our server Salvatore could not have been friendlier and more attentive. The food was excellent. We started with burrata. The cheese was fresh and delicious, the tomatoes and peppers were fresh and tasty and was plated artfully. I had the chicken parm with penne pasta. It’s standard dish but again done very well by the chef. My wife had the sole which was also prepared to her liking and again a generous portion. My friend had the risotto which was delicious and portion was generous. I asked Salvatore to pair a glass of red wine with my chicken parm and brought a delicious Italian red wine with a generous pour. We ended with cappuccino which was freshly made and again a very generous portion. We also shared a crème boule which was freshly made and delicious . The restaurant is also overseen by its owners which is a great touch. The price was very fair. This is great food, with very attentive service, in a charming atmosphere at a very fair price point.
