Came in for dinner after a show. we ordered two Margaritas and an alcohol free cocktail. The margarita's were huge in nice Mexican style glasses. We had the calamari which was one of the best the three of us have had. huge portions of huge tender squid with this amazing non-greasy seasoned batter. A light crunch with huge flavor along with a fresh cocktail sauce. We had the garlic pepper chicken wings and three tacos, and the shrimp Alfredo pasta. The chicken wings were tender and with a slight crisp in a nice garlic and pepper oil. Comes with carrot and celery sticks and a nice ranch sauce. The shrimp past was the winner. A huge portion size with large shrimp in a wonderful Alfredo sauce with toast crostini. Only the shrimp were overcooked and a bit tough. We look forward to returning.

Food was ok. My friend has the beef soup and it was way too big and bland. I had the 48hr marinated strip steak medium rare. Cooked perfectly had great flavor really enjoyed it. My wife had the tacos and she’d like those too. Service was a bit slow. Great bartender I think his skills are being lost at that restaurant. They need a better selection of bourbon. But they had a great selection of gin and pisco. Which was awesome because it got me out of my comfort level But, the pisco sour was the best. Made with fresh egg. Just crushed it!!!! Need to focus the man a little bit it’s kind of all over the board but it does have potential

La Perla Restaurant in Chicago exceeded all expectations with its authentic Latin, especially Peruvian, cuisine and outstanding service. Chicago, do not sleep on this gem! With the chef’s background of having worked in Miami and Italian restaurants here, the menu has a delightful variety of Latin classics and fresh pasta. Our table ordered all of the above and every detail was extremely well crafted. I had the churrasco which was cooked to perfection. Staff is super friendly and hospitable. La Perla treats their guests like they’re welcoming friends into their home. Do not skip it!

Wonderful food and service. Chef came out to greet us and server couldn't do enough for us. Our group of women called Las Perlas del Caribe truly enjoyed our dining experience at La Perla!

This place is amazing!! Brand new restaurant, with great food, large portions, and wonderful service! Everything we had was so good! Great sear on the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce, and tuna tartar was tasty! The root vegetable chips are so much better than regular tortilla chips!! Very large portions so you will not leave hungry. We will definitely be visiting again!
