La Madonna - a Good Food Guide listed day to night dining and drinking enclave dedicated to spontaneous menus, a celebration of local produce and the spirit of sustainability. Acclaimed Melbourne chef, Paul Turner playfully riffs on cuisines and technique all delivered with a creative, relaxed finesse.

Enjoy menu highlights such as Wagyu bresaola with romesco, pickled zuchinni and togarashi, pan-fried gnocchi with kimchi, broccoli and fresh curds and a signature dry aged duck dish…. with a barrel aged cocktail or wine at hand.

Or perhaps wind down after a busy day at La Madonna Bar. With plenty of comfortable couches and dimly lit corners to enjoy a cocktail, or two and a selection of snacks. Sink into a seat surrounded by wooden barrels and glass bottles ageing various cocktails, tinctures and spirits.

Following the spectacle, you’ll be the first to savour the freshly decanted cocktail before finding your own spot within La Madonna’s restaurant for our chef’s selection menu ‘Insieme’. Enjoy Chef Paul Turner's latest seasonal favourites, starting with snacks in the bar, then moving to the restaurant for shared entrees, pasta and then something more substantial, followed by dessert. Absolutely fantastic dining experience at La Madonna! The crispy duck was the star of the evening – perfectly cooked and an easy 10/10. We tried four dishes in total, and every single one was delicious and well-presented. The food is definitely worth the value, and you can tell great care goes into each dish. The service is amazing also! Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality and flavor!

I have to say food was not bad, but we got a very arrogant waiter . I wouldn’t go there again and I wouldn’t recommend .

I went there for my girlfriend’s birthday and I must say I am impressed by the interactions between the staffs, the food and the atmosphere! They combined really well and top notch services! Definitely go there again!

La Madonna is an excellent restaurant and we have been there many times. Decided to try the Pre-Theatre offer for $50, included wine was lovely, the taste and quality of the food was outstanding however the portion size was a snack, entrees and main would fit on a bread and butter plate. We had to get a burger when we left. The other very strange thing was that everyone on the table had to order the same choice and then a serve of each dish comes out for the table to share, it didn’t work for me. I’d prefer to pay more and get a bigger serve or veggies or something, I had to buy a burger anyway. Or market the offer as a pre-dinner snack or taster.

Me and my partner had a wonderful time. The food was great, atmosphere was very classy, great value for money as well. Would definitely recommend and come back.

The vegetarian roasted cauliflower was delicious. I highly recommend it. Service was attentive but not overwhelming.
