For years, Paolo and Teresa Gaspari honored their Italian roots by bringing people together to enjoy good food, great wine and the company of friends and family. In 2019, John Ekizian took the reins and remains excited to continue the tradition of La Famiglia. The simplicity and perfection of fresh ingredients is the root of every meal we prepare here at La Famiglia, and all of our dishes pair beautifully with our vast collection of fine wines. From our pasta to our sauces, even to our freshly-squeezed lemon juice, we start from scratch. One bite, and you’ll understand the difference that handmade truly makes. Unfortunately this experience was a let down compared to previous experiences. Service was wonderful, excellent table but food was just so so. The bruschetta was a cold mess, which was sent back, artichoke hearts were very good, but lacked heat, Caesar salad was ok, my husband enjoyed the clam chowder, his chicken parmigiana was dreadful, my scallops were the highlight. Strawberry sorbet, how can that be bad, well it was, I am surprised the chef allowed food like this to come out of the kitchen. Might have to think twice about this restaurant when seeing a show at the Pioneer Theatre.

We had Brussels sprouts appetizer, which was delicious. Wish I could get the recipe. The blackened Branzino was delicious. The Salmon was good but not as wonderful as the Branzino. The wine was reasonably priced. Overall a great meal!

The restaurant is very nice inside and the wait staff was very pleasant. Atmosphere was pleasant. Honestly we did not feel that the food was any better than ordinary.

Great Italian food. My son is a vegetarian and was happy for the option of no meat lasagna. I loved the artichoke hearts and sauce. Meatballs were yummy. Very attentive servers. Will plan another visit.
