La Cosecha is a local neighborhood Mexican restaurant. La Cosecha or " The Harvest" is a brevity of our stance to bring forward dishes inspired from interior Mexican cuisine; all while utilizing seasonal and local Texas ingredients. The menu centers around sharable dishes, progressing from small to large, with intentions to create a family setting at the dinner table. The food and drink invites you to experience familiar comforts, as well as original flavors, all to tell a story that is modest yet thoughtful.

Mi pareja es un poco exigente y pense en este lugar y a el le gusto mucho yo lo seguire recomendando y estubimos muy satisfechos de la imagen de este restaurante.

I ordered the 1/2 pound steak fajita with shrimp, which cost about $35. When my meal was served, the four shrimp were cold, and appeared to be farm raised Walmart brand. The six pieces of fajitas were about two inches each. I thought they served me the kids meal. I asked the waitress if it was the kids meal and she replied no, the meat just shrinks and departed. I have purchased beef/steak fajitas at various markets along the border, and other places, and have never had fajitas shrink to that degree. I could have gone to Taco Cabana right down the road and gotten a fuller/better meal for half the price. The fajitas were also burnt, along with the over cooked farm raised shrimp. The refried beans were terrible. They must have gringos or Chinese in the back cooking. The music was Cubano, no Mexican, they probably don't know the difference. The brisket queso was too salty, and the green cheese enchiladas were watered down, tasteless crap. The owner should be ashamed of the quality of the food. I guess the owner figures the customers will be mostly gringos that think Taco Bell is authentic. This restaurant is a big fancy Taco Bell. Beter off going next door to Taco Cabana. What a rip off. Oh, then the bill comes, and the smallest recommended tip is $21. Nonsense, after paying $35 for six 2 inch fajitas. I barely was able to make one taco. Why the heck did they give me four tortillas? Not enough meat for one taco. La Madre.

Good food, as usual. Service is always amazing. The enchiladas were good, I loved the poblano sauce!

Still our favorite Mexican food in the city. I highly recommend the Wagyu steak fajitas!

Made reservations for Christmas Eve dinner. Our table was ready when we got there. Everyone was very welcoming and pleasant. We ordered baked oysters and carnitas. Everything was delicious, however, the oysters were very small, not sure we would order them again. But overall it was very enjoyable. Will definitely be back.

Unfortunately our food was cold, did not arrive together.Drinks refills were non-existent.We have eaten her so many times it was so disappointing.

Seated when we arrived for our reservation no wait server was prompt to arrive at our table either chips and salsa and provide us with drink & food menu’s Our food was come to the table promptly after we ordered and was hot and very tasty
