Love it -our “go too” for tacos in a setting where you cans also have excellent sangria or fabulous spicy margaritas at the bar. We are repeat offenders ;)

2nd time dining here at La Capital MX, and this time the service was a tad slow. The carnitas were drier compared to our last visit. But overall we enjoyed our food and drinks. Still remains the truest Mexican food in the Charlotte region.

I had the skirt steak with a onion enchilada. The skirts steak was very good. The onion enchilada was terrible as sort of expected something special to be done to the onions, caramelized or something. They were barely cooked very bland so overall, it was a waste of my money had reservations, but decided to sit at the bar with my friend to celebrate my 70th birthday bartender was not very knowledgeable when we ask him what drinks he recommended he said whatever you like and turned around and walked off after we finished our meal. I had a margarita which was $19 and water down We walked across the street to Sullivan‘s to have a nice drink in better Atmosphere. Will not be returning.

Food was very good, but definitely overpriced for what it was. Must have been short staffed the night we went. Service was very slow and inattentive.

Chips and salsa/queso they brought out first was wonderful and such a nice surprise since you usually just get salsa at most Mexican restaurants. I got the enchiladas suizas and my husband got the chicken burrito, and both were soooooo good. I would 100% get the enchiladas again bc they were perfection! The restaurant itself is very nice too.

We went for a small bday dinner for 4, it was never overwhelming, the noise level was perfect. The food was great, a little higher priced but worth the cost. So yummy!

The best Mexican food I’ve had in a while!! So delicious, margaritas were phenomenal, and the atmosphere was great! Sat at the bar and our server/bartender Kayla was so wonderful! We will definitely be back!
