Mariano was our server, he did a spectacular job with the service he offered, he guided us through the menu, also explained some dishes from the menu to us, even though it took some time to be brought to the table Mariano checked and ensure that we were getting it. All the food was freshly made and delicious.

The 90 min time limit after a reservation has been made is ridiculous and rude for the prices charged. Don’t overbook the restaurant and kick customers out. Plenty of other good restaurants in DC have it figured out. No need for time limits for paying customers after a reservation has been booked.

Great atmosphere/ambience. The food tasted excellent. The servers did a really great job. Just don't forget that it's easy to drop a lot of money and still feel like you haven't eaten anything yet. I guess that's just to be expected in Georgetown. Unless it's for a special occasion, I wouldn't go for the fancier stuff and just stick to the regular rolls.

An amazing culinary experience with spectacular dishes prepared with such intentionality. The flavors and textures were so intriguing, hitting three mark every time. Abby, our delightful server was so genuine and steered us to a perfect selection of dishes.

Fun atmosphere w quite good food characterized by a lot of hi end ingredients ( Wagyu,Uni,etc)- Some fun creative combinations but Not ideal if one is a sushi purist. ( shoyo vs soy sauce and some sushi was smoked w lavender-very nice touch but not a traditional Japanese preparation service was amicable but a bit slow particularly before getting to order While one could possibly get good value here only by ordering very carefully. All good but value requires great discipline here (sushi or sashimi) combinations etc We did not restrain ourselves and spent 700+ w tip for 3 of us w only $45 of alcohol( 300 ml of sake) A good example was a wonderful scallop dish w uni etc Basically a scallop sliced into 5 thin pieces for $45. It was really fantastic and a good example

sushi was compared to georgetown dining hall sushi. everything has uni or caviar or wagu. it was fine, wouldn’t go again.
