With a focus on quality ingredients, simplicity and execution, the menu features James Beard award-winning chef, Ann Kim’s take on familiar favorites. Located on the first floor, Kyndred Hearth is a comfortable, modern setting. It will serve as a welcoming neighborhood gathering space for the community, and gives out of town visitors a taste of the Minneapolis food scene during their stay at Viking Lakes.

Great ambiance and vibe going on with the restaurant. Food items were delicious …great menu. The server was delightful when at the table, but clearly stretched as timing was “off.” Professional, friendly, and apologetic for the timing gaps, they were doing their best given the workload. Definitely atypical situation compared to prior visits.

Took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. Manager promised to take an appetizer on our bill and then we had to pay for it anyway. Also, went to celebrate my birthday and I marked that on the reservation and nothing was done for that.

Took forever to get drinks. Manager walked through the restaurant with our drinks on a tray, chatting with others while we waited. Server never asked about drink refills and didn’t check back. 3 week reservation and we were seated in a table in the back while walk in couple was seated at a nice booth/table. Dined here before and had incredible service. Disappointed!

We checked in for our reservation 20 minutes early and were told our table would be ready at our reservation time; no problem. We tried the lobby bar which had an extremely long line (Christmas pop-up), the upstairs bar was closed, so we walked towards the bar within Kyndred Hearth and were told they do not serve walk-ups. I said we’d just like a glass of wine while we wait, and was told that’s not possible. We proceeded to wait for 45 minutes, as we were sat 25 minutes past our reservation time. All in all, very disappointing customer service.

We showed up early to our reservation and the got us in super quick. The drinks and apps were great we thought dinner was going to go well, then our mains and salad came out. The the salad had a live bug in it. In my opinion the lettuce was not properly washed and prepared. The waitress was incredibly helpful and the manager took a few things off our bill. Unfortunately we only had a bite or two out of the pasta but from what I could tell both the rigatoni and ravioli was undercooked. We probably won’t be back. Which is in unfortunate because it was a great place to sit at the bar and have some apps, but cleanliness may not be a top priority

Very busy so servers didn't linger. Food is very good and properly prepared. Fun drinks. If you have free drink vouchers be sure to check your bill.

This restaurant never disappoints. The food, staff, and atmosphere exceed our expectations every time. Whether you're looking for a casual lunch or romantic dinner, this is the place! From fresh made pizzas to melt in your mouth pork belly, the menu has something for any occasion and every mood. Bar seating to watch the game, front row tables to view the open kitchen, and booth seating for a more secluded experience. Knowledgeable staff answer any and all questions and are attentive to needs but not over bearing. Overall, we definitely recommend this restaurant and applaud the chefs professionalism and attention to detail.

As usual we enjoyed our experience at Kyndred Hearth. Understaffed when we were there. Restaurant was packed. Felt badly for the team . Fortunately we were not in a hurry that night and we enjoy the restaurant so much. Hope you consider being open on Sundays and Mondays for game days. Hotel is full and only 2 option. Would love to keep my money in the hotel. Keep up the good work
