The staff who greeted us and served us in the restaurant were not warm and acted confused that we were there for a table booking however the team at the bar were great. We had the tasting menu which was mostly delicious except the tempura squid which had so much batter you couldn’t taste the squid. Tempura should be light and this was more this pub batter. We were also surprised that for £216 they served a small desert to share, no bigger that a single persons portion. It was a shame as it tainted the end of the meal and felt like poor value.

Portions are Very Very small Specifically lamb dish 3 the smallest piece of lamb for £42 Sushi was half of the size of the sushi we had to have elsewhere… seriously tiny pieces We wouldn't rush back

I think food was good… atmophere was plain and formal The cutest one was the little car decorated outside inside plain for a holiday season… service was pretty bad.. one lady was looking all tables, we had to chase them asking for more sparkling water many many times.. they have to work On that hiring more people and attentive attitude. But this is not her fault, one server is not enough…

Food on the whole was very good and the restaurant was lovely however, we were disappointed by the service which was frustratingly slow. We were regularly left waiting for long periods for our wine to be topped up which given the prices being charged wasn’t in line with our expectations. We were also a little disappointed that the restaurant asked when booking if we were celebrating anything however failed to acknowledge our celebration during our visit.
