KOYN Japanese is located on our ground floor of Mayfair's Grosvenor Square and is a celebration of the timeless artistry of Japanese cuisine elevated by a contemporary approach.
The kitchen led by Executive Chef Rhys Cattermoul presents a menu highlighting the true essence of each ingredient, guided by a philosophy that embraces innovation while respecting tradition, to showcase the broad spectrum of Japanese cuisine through rich umami flavours and locally sourced produce.

    Amazing Japanese dining experience. The sashimi was incredibly fresh, and the sushi rolls were beautifully presented and full of flavor. The ambiance was calm and authentic, and the staff were attentive and friendly.

    It was an amazing experience and Koyn Japanese has topped in my favourite places to eat! The food is delicious and the service is cherry on top! Amongst my favourites were their Japanese style Nasu, rock shrimp tempura and the spinach ohitashi are to die for.

    My time at Koyo Japanese was simply amazing! The place was buzzing with energy, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I started with the starter dish, which I believe is called crispy tuna rice. It was to die for! The menu had a great variety of options, and I really enjoyed exploring all the choices. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I highly recommend Koyo Japanese to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. And on a personal note, one of the staff members, I think her name was Anka, was absolutely amazing. She helped us pick out the perfect dish and was so humble about it.

    My recent visit to KOYN was nothing short of exceptional. We started with cocktails at the bar, which were expertly crafted and set the tone for an incredible evening. The service was outstanding, with the staff providing thoughtful attention to every detail, making us feel truly valued as guests. The waiters were highly knowledgeable and guided us on the perfect amount of food to order, even suggesting the black cod, which was absolutely divine. It’s a must-try dish! The sushi was among the best I’ve had in London—fresh, flavorful, and impeccably presented. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant, creating the perfect dining ambiance. Despite being busy, everything ran smoothly, and the overall experience was seamless. The food was worth every penny, reflecting the high-quality ingredients and artistry behind each dish. KOYN is a place I’ll definitely return to. Amazing food, impeccable service, and a fantastic vibe—this restaurant has it all! Highly recommended!

    Our first visit in Koyn was better than imagined! Heard a lot about this beautifully decorated and located restaurant in the heart of Mayfair. Warm and welcoming service! We chose to have dinner at the sushi countertop and was the best decision. We chose the omakase feasting menu with a great value. Expectations exceeded. Quality, ambience and service! What else would you be looking for?
