Located in the heart of Coral Gables, Kojin serves modern American cuisine with a Japanese twist. Helmed by Chefs Pedro & Katherine Mederos, Kojin offers an elevated dining experience and extensive menu, including a variety of flame-grilled dishes and fresh seafood, prepared using innovative culinary techniques.
Building on the success of the chefs' first restaurant which entered the Michelin Guide for two consecutive years, Kojin aims to serve guests the highest-quality ingredients at their peak seasonality and freshness, whether that means sourcing produce from local Florida farmers or importing ingredients from Japan.
Kojin's warm, stylish ambiance centers around its open kitchen where you can see the chefs at work. Kojin is available for private events upon request. Whatever the occasion, Chefs Pedro and Katherine hope to make you feel right at home at Kojin.

Having eaten here before, we loved the opportunity to revisit to decorate holiday cookies. It was the PERFECT date night experience. Not only did we have fun decorating, but the actual cookies were absolutely delicious...honestly, I've never had such buttery cookies before. Kojin continues to be a great spot with a vibe all it's own and I cannot recommend it enough!

One of the best dining experiences in Miami. Every bite was amazing. Chef and server kept checking on us and made sure the experience was the best. Will be definitely be coming back for all their new menus

Excellent food and an incredible mix of flavor, can’t really wait to go back. Highly recommend going to Kojin. Everyone was very knowledgeable and genuinely eager to help. Wishing all the staff and the owners only the very best on this coming 2025!!!!

Best meal in Miami. I’ve been 2-3 times now and every time I come there’s something new on the menu that’s blows my mind. World class meal and service. I’ve done the tasting menu and a la carte and they’re both. Highly recommend.

We attended a special event with visiting chef’s from XO in Columbia. Food was interesting and amazing. Chef made great wine pairing choices. Great location in Coral Gables and no need to deal with Beach traffic.

Amazing restaurant! Food was inventive and delicious … service was excellent. Will definitely return. We are in form out of town and staying near the airport, where it’s tough to find lots of great places to eat. Kojin was a blessing … could not have asked for a better place to dine. Their wines are fabulous (they do not offer cocktails). And the staff from time to time dropped a little something extra at our table to taste. They even suggested a wonderful local salsa club nearby to go after dinner. This place rocks!
