Created to deliver the best in food, drinks and vibes to Charlotte, NC , Kitchen + Kocktails is here to please. A dynamic comfort food restaurant at its core, Kitchen + Kocktails will focus on nicely plated comfort foods, including flavored fried chicken and lobster tails, shrimp and grits, creative waffles and other southern classics made with a twist.

Parties of 5+ call: 312-659-1951 between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

If you are past the 15 minute grace period your reservation will be forfeited then you will be accommodated as a walk-in.

I came here with my 2 teenage boys (19 and 17) on Thanksgiving, and we had a wonderful time. We had a reservation and got seated right-away (it wasn’t too busy). The food was fantastic (large portions), our waitress was lovely, and the atmosphere was chill (R&B not playing too loud, sports game on TV…). I read a lot of reviews about this place, and I was a bit skeptical, but we had a real nice time, and ate well! The place did look a bit ‘messy’ but other than that… would come here again.

Unfortunately the food & service are underwhelming for the price and experience. I’ve been twice, once for brunch & most recently for dinner, to be fair in my review. Both visits, the flavor is hit or miss with each bite. To add an automatic 20% tip for inconsistent service & mediocre food is asinine. I really want to like this place, as I believe it has great potential & an amazing concept- but each visit falls short, no matter the location.

The food was good, well seasoned. Sizable portions. The sides were good ( Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes & gravy), collards, broccolini, corn bread. The fried chicken & braised short ribs reminded me of my mother’s home cooking. Thanksgiving meal did not disappoint. Asia M our server and everyone made you feel welcome.

I went on a daddy daughter day and it was amazing who came out and record time. The ambience was amazing. I will be returning.

This was my first experience at K&K. I wanted to support a BOB. Upon arrival I was pleasantly pleased with the beautiful decor. The flower walls are beautiful back drops for pictures. The staff was attentive. The place was clean. Amazing Dj playing a mix of music. Now onto the not so pleasant parts of my visit. I order a Moscow Mule and there was hair in the drink. Sent that back and got another, no issues there. My gripe is the pricing of the food. I feel that it is a little overpriced for what you are getting. There is a 20% gratuity that is automatically charged even for a party of 2. I do appreciate that the food was seasoned and prepared well. I will return to this establishment but it is not high on my must do list. Tweak your pricing for your food. If you need an example of overpriced food items. I ordered a side of scrambled eggs, 2 to be exact. 2 eggs cost me $11. That is ridiculous. You can get 3 dozen of eggs for that price.

One thing I don’t understand is why make reservations and still have to wait over an hour to be seated. Me and my guest had to wait outside in the cold for an hour and 30 mins was not allowed to wait inside because it was so busy. When we got seated the service was pretty fast but the food was not so great but overall the place is nice and pretty loved the dj he did his thing just a long wait and food not so good at all.

I really enjoyed the service and the food. The fried catfish, mac and cheese were really good. My homegirl got the black eye peas and she said that were really good as well. Drinks are high however that's expected for the area it is in. Dennis my server was really knowledgeable about the menu and what to try.

Our server, Cameron, was a delight to converse with and gave great recommendations. The jerk lamb chops combined with a cinnamon roll waffle put an exclamation on my dining experience.
