Such a fun place! Love the Boom Boom Shrimp! Yum!!! Lively, friendly, a bit noisy, but that adds to the energy. Our server Braqdon was delightful!

Always consistent and food selection is versatile. Live the boom boom shrimp and the waiter, Brendan, very attentive and had great recommendations. Our friends in town for the tennis tournament enjoyed the casual atmosphere and good food .

A good place to dine. Their menu is varied with choices that will suit your tastes. There's patio dining. High bar stool tables and normal seating are available.

This was our second experience at Kitchen 86. We were seated quickly, in the outdoor area near the street. We then waited a long time (ten minutes or so) before anyone greeted us, and she was a little flustered and apologetic, which said to us that there was maybe some confusion about whose table we were. She said as much, saying that "she probably wouldn't be our server" but would be happy to take our drink orders. We gave her our full order, not being particularly confident that anyone would be back anytime soon. We got our drinks in good time and the wine was good. The bread came out fairly quickly as well, but it took a long time for our entrees to appear. I had the chicken picatta, which was good and hot. Vegan wife had the capellini. It was hot, the pasta was good but the rest was extremely salty, to the level that she stopped eating it. We did report this to our server, and she discounted our bill. Short version, the service was iffy and one of the entrees was way over seasoned. It's a good place but we probably won't be back any time soon.

Wonderful evening outside dining on El Paseo. Party of four shared multiple small bites. Rosemary lamb chops and bang bang shrimp,were the favorites .
