Kinu is an Indian-tapas concept blending Indian flavours and global cuisine in an elevated setting. The menu features treasures from all over India bringing you authentic regional cuisines presented in an upscale manner, along with dishes from all over the globe with subtle hint of Indian flair. Our first time trying Kinu and were very disappointed. Service was horrible as the restaurant was ridiculously understaffed (only 1 bartender and 1 server on a Saturday night!?). Our server was very disorganized, messed up our order, and just overall inefficient. The bartender was trying to cover serving too, so drinks took forever. Food tasted good, but our $31 single lamb shank came out cold... And portions were smaller than expected given the prices. Needless to say, we will not be going back, which is unfortunate because the restaurant could have so much potential if there was better organization and management there.

Absolutely delicious food. Small restaurant with wonderful ambiance. Four of us enjoyed our meals. Lots of gluten free option Friday evening dinner and the small restaurant became very busy. The two servers who worked that evening were professional and wonderful at letting us know that they were short handed at the front of the restaurant. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, excellent recommendations from our server, small restaurant vibe and a relaxed dinner. We will be back.

What a great experience. Ended up having the restaurant to ourselves. Birthday celebration felt as if it was a private function. Outstanding. Food was amazing. Service was exceptional. Shouldn’t tell a lot of people as it will get too busy. Ha! All kidding aside, you will not be disappointed.

The ambiance was warm and cozy. Lamb shank was amazing. Our server was a lovely young lady who was very sweet and kind.

Great food and terrific service. I had the lamb shank. It was excellent. My partner had butter chicken and garlic naan. As someone with celiac disease this is a great place to go. Much of the menu is gluten free.

Enjoyable light meal. Three of us shared 3 dishes. The aloo tikka was excellent with delicious flavours and textures, the gnocchi dish was a bit disappointing with little flavour at all the third dish was good but not memorable. The wait staff was very attentive and pleasant. I’ll go back just for the aloo tikka
