The Kinneuchar Inn is a 17th-century pub and restaurant which champions great food in an intimate setting. We recently were awarded Best Local Restaurant in Scotland 2023 by The Good Food Guide.

We serve a daily changing 'a la carte' menu, based on ingredients sourced from the Balcaskie Estate and a handful of carefully curated partners. Our menus are seasonal and produce-led, aiming to highlight the quality of the ingredients.

Helmed by James Ferguson (formerly of The Connaught and East London eatery Beagle) and partner Alethea Palmer.

The Kinneuchar Inn is one of my favourite restaurants. There is always a warm welcome, an innovative and delicious range of food and drinks and great relaxed but slick service. And it’s consistently good too. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our lunch at Kinneuchar Inn, they were super accommodating of our 3 year old. Food was excellent!

Exceptional quality and service as always. James menu even for someone who is gluten free and diary free was full of mouthwatering dishes and an abundance of seasonal foods. It’s a little slice of heaven and the East Neuks best kept secret. Always a pleasure to dine here and Alethea and her team took excellent care of us and all our fellow dinners.

Food was exceptional, staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. We enjoyed classic dishes that were made with fantastic produce, and executed with great skill and attention to detail. Kinneuchar Inn has long been a favourite of ours and never disappoints.

Once again an absolutely fantastic evening - the food, the service, the ambience! Everything was first class. We are so fortunate to have such a great restaurant right on our doorstep. Enjoy your well earned break.
