   I booked a table which was ready, even when arrived earlier. The waitress was very helpful and nice, and her recommendation, a prawn dish plus crab meat with greens and sweet potato pies was perfect for me and also one of the best seafood meal I ever had. The whole ambiente was very welcoming and all I can say is that I liked everything about my experience at King Sitric Seafood bar. I'll be back!

   We were so looking forward to this dinner and so disappointed. I have eaten in 3 other restaurants in how all with amazing fish and was hoping for the same here but no comparison unfortunately. My daughter had the fish goujons and chips and the fish had zero flavour. My partner had the fish and chips, the same zero flavour, fish slightly overdone, I had the crab salad, huge disappointment, crab that may have been frozen with no flavour even with whatever dressing they used to bind it and just a bunch of leaves and cucumber on the plate beside it. My mother and partner had the pram cocktail and the prawns were so chewy, again possibly frozen prawns! Really find food if you were going to a local cafe or chopper but not for a restaurant in howth with every other restaurant serving amazing fresh fish! The service was not great either, lovely people but we waited 35 minutes for our table and my partner ordered another wine and it came as we paid the bill, my dad ordered tea with desert and it never came, really seemed to lack coordination. Such a disappointing day out for Mother’s Day, don’t think I would take the risk and go again.

   Never disappoints. The food and service are brilliant. Cosy spot. The smokies, calamari, crab claws, prawns all amazing. House Red is always on point. Can't speak highly enough of this place.

   Great vibe, really good layout inside. Small Number of tables, really buzzy. Proper fishing town / sea front restaurant.

    Always reliable and lovely staff. Crab salad that zings and the best fish and chips in Howth - breaded instead of battered and so much lighter because of that.
