Restaurant was not busy. Maple bacon was cold .. cooked, but cold (was it precooked and came out of the fridge? The eggs were hot.. so..). We asked for the same minor change to both orders (eggs Benedict: English muffin rather than cheese scone on both orders and my friend additionally wanted a cheese scone on the side-which she would pay the extra for). Then, different servers. Initially brought 3 full meals and only 1 had the English muffin rather than the cheese scone, then twice they brought English muffins. I had explained quite clearly each time. The last time she said she’d just leave it there “in case”. I asked her to take it away and she took no responsibility, no apology - she actually said that we must have misunderstood. Too much of our time spent explaining and re-explaining such a minor thing, rather than enjoying the company of my friend. I rarely get mad in a restaurant-this was the exception. I did tip - as a former waitress, I know how crummy the pay is, but if she spent more time listening and less time calling me “hon” and “dear”, it may have been a more pleasant experience.

They seated us right at the door for the patio section so every guest going into or out of the area, plus the servers were bumping our chair/coat, and servers/guests kept cutting between our table and the large table seated beside us (minimal room between the tables). To top it off, a large Christmas party was immediately behind us. We had to flag the server down to order/reorder drinks and food as she never voluntarily came to our table

Josh was a great server and very attentive even with the restaurant being super busy .. one drawback was we were seated lose to the door so we had a lot of foot traffic

My steak frites dish was good overall, steak was cooked to order...however, serving luke warm frozen fries was kind of 'meh'. Our server was accommodating, replacing the fries but they were still frozen. Fresh cut fries would go a long way, given cost and the fact, it's a sit-down restaurant not a fast-food restaurant. Nachos on the table were great, salmon dish was good as well.
