Best dumplings ever; everything was great and each dish had a bit of heat to it, even the cold sesame noodles; great atmosphere - vibrant, but you don’t need to shout to be heard

We had a wonderful evening with incredible food everything was delicious and the staff was outstanding- will definitely come back next time we are in Denver.

It was amazing! Sat at the bar and totally enjoyed my first experience here. Will be back sooner than later I hope. Matt was great - from the drinks to the food recommendations, I enjoyed it so much! 💜

I really like the food at this restaurant but I have to admit that I wasn't lucky with the service. I'm 40 weeks pregnant and I still didn't get good service. This was my third time at the restaurant. The second time I was seated with a reservation in my husband Warren's name and the waiter almost pushed me away from the table, asking me every 2 seconds if I wanted anything else. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I had already chosen a dish and was trying to choose another but I was being pressured so much that I ended up giving up. This last time I made the reservation and ordered takeout, afraid of going through the same situation and they said that I couldn't buy and take the food to go, so I sat at the counter and they said they would take it to go. 😥 I was already seated so I said that I would eat it there and then they brought it to me to go. They also said that I couldn't put the egg that comes boiled on top of my pasta in separate containers :/ but when it was time to pay, they included the tip without me having good service.

Birthday dinner for my husband! Outstanding food and we loved the ambiance. That said, the service was lacking and the dining experience felt extremely rushed. Six courses were delivered within 40 minutes, often course upon course crowding the table. Felt rushed to clear the table and check out. I’d recommend the food in a heart beat but the experience was disappointing.

More often than not, I feel there is a dish that could've been left behind when dining out -- not the case at Kawa Ni. Hands down my new fave restaurant in Denver. 10/10 service, ambiance, and flavor journey. Telling everyone I know!

Service was incredible! Food was absolutely amazing in particular the dumplings. Only minor negative was the lighting being super low requiring use of cellphone flashlight to see the menus.

Delicious. Hip. Creative. I'm so pleased that I found this place. Two musts: chicken biang biang bao and the crab fried rice.
