KAHANI, which means "story" in Hindi, is open from Tuesday through Thursday from 5 - 9 p.m. and Friday - Saturday from 5 - 10 p.m.

Step into a world of vibrant colors and rich flavors as The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel kicks off the Chit, Chaat & Chai afternoon tea series with a Holi celebration on March 15th. This special event marks the beginning of an afternoon tea experience in KAHANI every Saturday throughout April 19. Immerse yourself in an extravagant spread of exquisite teas, flavorful Indian delicacies, and sweet treats thoughtfully crafted to mirror the joyful spirit and colorful traditions of Holi. $115 per adult excluding tax and service charges, and reservations are required. For guests with dietary restrictions, special accommodations may be made in advance. Absolutely disgusting. There was 3 long strands of hair from the cooks in my food. My waiter did his part and called for the manager. I saw that he was standing outside of the restaurant door. After the waiter talked to the manager he sent the waiter back to our table and the manager stayed outside. The audacity of the manager in a 5 star restaurant of a prestigious hotel was baffling. I had to call for the manager to come in specifically. Nevertheless the food was super salty. The saag, Dahl, and aloo ghobi especially. The garlic naan was soggy and I had to ask for it to be remade. This is not Indian food. End of the day, I had 3 strands of hair in my food and only found out as I was chewing on the price of food.

The best restaurant ever! The Gm Gorgi tiesia and the chef Sanjaay are truly world class! The best freshest food ever! Highly recommend

Amazing, unique, high quality food. Everything was delicious. Service and ambience were great. This restaurant is definitely a 5 star experience!

This was our second visit to KAHANI and we were not disappointed!! From the reception and seating to fantastic service and delicious food and calm soothing live music to a meeting both the restaurant Manager and the Chef upon our exit all made for a fantastic night out! Our other home in Manhattan is also surrounded by many wonderful restaurants, however, KAHANI topped most in all aspects! I highly recommend this restaurant without hesitation!!

The flavoring of the food was good but a bit too spicy. Also the service was average, could have been better for a restaurant in the Ritz.

The food quality is amazing, can easily say this is the best Indian food ever had (Wagyu short ribs WOW)! Also the service is top notch and everything was handled smoothly even on a busy Valentine's Day. The ambiance is good though not amazing, it's more classy than particularly vibey but that makes sense as this has been other restaurant types in the Ritz in the past. But being in the Ritz means the classy vibes totally add to dinner! Pricing is fairly reasonable given how high quality the food is, so maybe just the drinks are a bit much as those were good but not as good as the food. Overall must-do dining experience in the area!
