Kachka features an award-winning menu of post-soviet inspired dishes including famous dishes such as the Herring under a fur coat, Rabbit in a clay pot, dumplings and much more. The restaurant is an homage to the dishes our chef/owner grew up eating. Kachka is open for indoor onsite dining. Walk-in lounge and bar seating are also available.

Our Lavka grocery is open from 11am-9pm daily with counter service ordering from our Lavka cafe and deli available from 11-3. Seating is first come first serve on our upper patio or indoor lounge tables.

We have proudly replaced tipping with a 22% service fee in order to provide a base wage of $25 per hour and free healthcare for all employees. More information is available at kachkapdx.com/wage-equity

Del equipo editorial de OpenTable: Tras su apertura en 2014, este restaurante fue clave en el renacimiento de la cocina de Europa del Este dentro del país. De hecho, ha recibido elogios de Bon Appétit, Eater y GQ, entre otros. Una década después, este local —toda una oda de Bonnie e Israel Morales a sus raíces— sigue destacando por su famoso vodka con infusión de rábano picante, su zakuski (aperitivos), como el caviar y las huevas, y el conejo en olla de barro. Este restaurante de dos plantas, decorado con pósters coloridos y manteles de Bielorrusia, es un espacio acogedor al que querrás volver una y otra vez.

Excellent fish, excellent vodka, excellent pickled foods. We were a party of 9 at 9:15pm on Valentine’s Day, it was a big ask and Kachka was nothing but accommodating. The service was lovely and all the food and drink, fantastic.

I always leave Kachka feeling like my trip was worth it! Last night was no exception. The flavors are always exciting and unique, but there is still an overarching theme of the food being very comforting. I also cannot compliment their vodka selection enough. We got a vodka flight, and every shot was delicious and surprising. The staff were very friendly and attentive, adding to the charm. PS: If you can go during happy hour, I recommend their little combo plate w/ the cabbage roll and borscht! See my photo.

The place was charming enough but the noise level especially in the corner we were in was terrible. Probably won’t go back.

In visiting for ongoing US/Canada salmon work, since 2017 when we discovered Kachka, we anticipate an evening there whenever we can - sadly , this usually amounts to only once a year. As always the warm, kitchen like experience with great food more than met our expectations - you have strong stronger Western Canadian fan club! Sue F and gang

The service was outstanding, as was the food. It was our first time, and we were really pleased. The menu is a bit complicated for a first-timer, but our server was able to explain, in detail, everything on the menu we asked about. He helped us decide what things to try and how to combine everything into a fantastic and varied meal. We'll be back with friends!

It was our second time here and we had another great experience! The food was delish and the vibes were relaxed but anything but boring. The service is also really outstanding.
