Justine is a brasserie in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter. Opened in 2019 by husband-wife team Justin & Mia Devillier of La Petite Grocery, Justine combines the sophistication of Parisian brasseries with the playfulness of the South’s most lively district. Featuring dishes like Mussels, Escargot & Steak Frites, the menu honors the technique and simplicity of French classics, while evoking the senses with exciting, grand presentation. Other seafood and steak favorites include Shrimp & Grits, Pan Roasted Red Snapper, Shrimp Remoulade, NY Strip & Hanger Steak. True to the heart of French brasserie culture, the bustling, multi-roomed restaurant offers a versatile space to be enjoyed by all, whether it’s for a weekday lunch, afternoon glass of wine or celebratory dinner. The café side opens to the Chartres Street sidewalk, emulating a quintessential Parisian-street experience with daytime fare. I had an incredible experience at Justine. I arrived 30 minutes late because of traffic and was greeted with champagne as soon as I arrived! We had a group of 10 and the service was immaculate. The escargot and the steak tartare were perfect. I also had the little gem salad and the pan seared fish. All delicious! Loved it!

French onion soup was good, but the steak tartar has way too much horseradish. It also took too long to get our wine.

Good vibes and delicious food. Our hostess kindly relocated us to a quiet cozy booth on request. Food was fabulous.

Amazing experience for my birthday. They gifted me with free creme brûlée & champagne. I loved everything about this restaurant, and would DEFINITELY visit again.

We really enjoyed the food and wonderful presentation of our meal. We also liked our server Angelo - he was bustling around and was as attentive as he could be. It was busier than we expected for a Monday night, which made for a great ambience. Shrimp and grits had a welcome gourmet flare to a classic New Orleans dish, steak tartare appetizer was a huge portion, and onion soup was delicious (but could have been a little hotter). Bartender was busy and we ended up getting our appetizers before the cocktail, but we were overall really pleased. Fun, beautiful decor. Hope to dine again next time we are in New Orleans!
