We ordered soup and specifically said we want it as a starter. First before the main course. He said yes. It came with all the main course dishes. We then spoke to a lady supervisor who lacks customer service. She said we have already made the food. I said take it bake and bring it later once soup finished and to keep it warm. It took another 10 minutes for bowls and soup spoons which was now getting cold. She then brought back the food which was cold including the rice which was cold. Not fresh from the rice cooker. At 9 pm we finished and we asked for the dessert menu. She said sorry kitchen is closed! No warning. This lady the supervisor had absolutely no customer service skills. Just ignored us even when we told her service was bad. No apologies or exclamation just took the money for the bill. The owner should talk to his or her staff.

Delicious food. The serving sizes were very small for the price. But I'd definitely recommend Jumbo Thai to others. Just order more than you think you'll eat! We were a table of 3 females and 1 male and we ordered 4 mains - 2 curries, pad thai and the beef salad and we could definitely have eaten more.

This was our second time at Jumbo. The food was fabulous, as it was on our first visit, however the service fails what could otherwise be a great dining experience. We were seated at the far end of the restaurant which was nice and private but seemingly too far from the attention of service staff. Not once were our wine glasses topped up and attracting the attention of staff proved challenging on what was not a very busy night. We discovered mid way through our dinner there was a specials board which was not mentioned to us when we were seated. The ambiance is great but sadly, once again, the service really detracts from what could and should be a great dining experience.

Absolutely delicious Thai food. I would have happily tried every entree - so many choices! Will definitely be going back to try some more.

Everything is as expected:clean restaurant,fine food (only downside is that some of our friends reckon that the green curry had a really strong lemongrass taste to it😁)

Unfortunately we were overcharged on the bill. Despite contacting the restaurant on a number of occasions they have failed to return my call. Despite the food being good due to overcharging on the bill I would not recommend.

My wife is Thai and we are visiting from Sydney. We had a 6.00pm Friday dinner and it was superb. We both loved the ambiance and the food was fresh, high quality and delicious. We tried three stir fry dishes and they were all great. The restaurant did get busy quickly, but the staff remained attentive. The price is right for the value. Will come again next time we are in Brisbane.
