We had 6:30 reservations and got sat right away but it was cold by the door so we had to keep coats on. Our server was clearly too busy so it took ~10mins for us to actually be addressed. The food is extremely overpriced plus an automatic 20% gratuity for parties of 2+. The baked chicken +2 sides is $30 and the catfish is $32. Food tasted great but took over an hour to get to us. Claims of the restaurant being upscale all on the website but they don’t even use cloth napkins, I received a plastic bottle of ginger ale for $3.50, and although very kind, the staff doesn’t dress or present as such. Very disappointed in my experience.

There was only tall tables available when I requested a standard level since I had a baby with me. We waited 30+ minutes to be greeted by our server. We didn’t get our appetizer until after an hour of being seated and our food was another 2 minutes after that. A 20% gratuity is automatic when you have 2 or more people so our server whom we barely saw got an automatic $30 tip. The food was really good so at least we didn’t wait 1.5 hours for nothing 😅 wouldn’t ever return to dine in but would order to go.

Food was great ,fresh and hot! Server Bobbie or Barbie she was wonderful! Only thing is the heat was not properly working we had to eat with our coats on.

The restaurant Ran out of food by the time my reservation at 730.They only had chicken, Fish, & Old oxtails. The Restroom was Dirty. Not mopped no paper towels, hand dryer nothing. Waiter disappeared. I will never go back they need a professional make over. & they just opened

Such great food. Service from jerithon was very attentive. The food really does feel like grandmas kitchen. I will be back!

My family and I were really excited to try! They were really strict about the whole party of 4 being present before sitting 3 of us although it was nearly empty. Once we were ready to order, we learned that they were out of lamb chops, only had one order of oxtails left, no kool-aid, and only a few sides. We ordered the deviled eggs and soul rolls for starters. The deviled eggs had no flavor but the soul rolls were very good! We didn’t wait too long for both our starters and entrees which was nice. Overall, the food was good - 3/5. We were excited to try some dessert and learned they only had two. Our waitress seemed to understand our irritation with none of the meals we wanted to try not being available. Unfortunately, we have no reason to go back but glad we tried it.

The food is very good, especially the soul rolls and pot roast empanadas. The decor and ambience are okay. The service was good. It’s BYOB now until the liquor license is finalized.
