The setting was lovely, but the temperature in the building was a bit on the cold side. We ordered from the special lunch menu which was good value for money.

The Sunday roast was delicious, very good value for money. Our group of 6 were very happy with the main course, but 1 person was very disappointed with the apple crumble dessert and it was not a crunchy crumble, more like soft hot oats on top. But for the price and taste, the Jolly Roger gets a big thumbs up from me.

Amazing staff always friendly and helpful-surroundings perfect, we are from london visiting our daughter and granddaughter, lovely place to meet up!

Nice location and setting. Staff were pleasant and food was served in a reasonable length of time. Fair portion size. I had the three meat Sunday roast dinner. Meat was nice however the roast potatoes were obviously frozen and not the “sea salt and rosemary roast potatoes “ as advertised. Other vegetables were ok. Good drinks selection was good. Overall ok but nothing stunning

Great location overlooking the sea, excellent choice on the menu. Really good and friendly service. Background music could have been a bit quieter (most groups talk over lunch!!") Food was excellent, perhaps could have been a bit hotter when it arrived, it did get a bit colder over a fairly short period of time. Overall a good experience and pretty good value! Well done
