Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Once again, I made a reservation on OpenTable only to get to the restaurant and find out that it was closed. This is not the first time that OpenTable has not communicated with its restaurant base to know whether or not they are truly available. Joe’s was closed for New Year’s, and consequently, we ended up with nowhere to go. I would recommend that you do not trust OpenTable to make your reservation, you should always call the restaurant and confirm.

Went here for my bday 2024 dec it was awesome! The crew sings for u haha. Me and my wife always come here for each others birthdays and get the boil for 2 🔥🔥

Most tables were open and it seemed as though there were lots of workers around. But service was extremely slow. Food was ok, a bit overdone and cool to warm in temperature when delivered. Kids meal popcorn shrimp was like cardboard. Waitress was very nice, but as I said, service extremely slow for an empty restaurant.

We ate there for our Anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it a special night. The food was great and the service was even better. We brought friends along and they can't wait to dine here again. C Shoop

Very tasty salmon on a plank, although slightly undercooked. French fries were dry and bland; perhaps they'd been under the warmer too long. Server was attentive to our needs.

I took my mom there for her birthday before going to the theater. They were energetic, sang happy birthday to her, and heard fast fun service! She lives coconut shrimp and said it was great!

We love Joe’s! It’s a 3 hour drive for us so we try to stop for crab every time we are in the area

We hadn’t been to Joe’s in a considerable amount of time. We’ve always been fans of the atmosphere and the food. I was shocked at the price increase since our last visit. We used to take our entire family of 6 and thought that it was fair priced for what we received. It’s so expensive now there’s no way I’d go again. It’s unfortunate that the prices are so high. The service was fantastic. Our server was phenomenal. The food was good but not worth the price. This is a fun place with great service but it’s become somewhere that only those who are wealthy can afford to go.

Grilled Shrimp skewers were very over cooked and tough. Bacon on stuffed bacon-wrapped shrimp was barely cooked. Had the add-on king crab for $16 and got two little legs the size of typical snow crab.
