Joe’s Crab Shack offers a variety of favorites from all parts of the sea and shore. From its extensive menu, guests can choose from buckets of seasonal seafood, fried shrimp platters and fish dishes, as well as options from the “mainland” that include steak, sandwiches, and chicken. Guests can indulge in over-sized and creative cocktails, such as the Shark Bite which is playfully garnished with a shark toy. Since its inception, Joe’s popularity has stemmed not only from its menu, but also its retail store. With various pieces of merchandise for purchase, including the ever-popular tie-dye T-shirt with the phrase “Peace, Love and Crabs,” Joe’s has become synonymous with the word “fun.”

Food was great. Wait staff attentive. This was my second visit in less than a week. Both times the wait time to get our food was really really really long. On my first visit it was about 3:30pm and the restaurant was not busy at all. This current visit it was a Friday night at 6:30pm and it was moderately busy. Both times I substituted items. The first meal was served with the wrong potatoes and the second meal was served with the wrong vegetable. This was not a deal breaker as they made it right in a fairly short time frame. I will be going back. The view on the water and the quality of the food makes it worth the wait......be sure to order a caesar salad. It was really good and you won't starve waiting for the main entree.

this was our first time at the crab shack. We were so happy when we saw our table. The entire space is surrounded by beautiful windows. You can see the water the sunset the boats it was truly lovely. The food was excellent. The staff were perfect we enjoyed everything Thank you☺️ so much!! Well Done!’

I was excited for the crab but whatever sauce they soak it in before serving it is not good. They ask you what kind of sauce you want but anything you choose ends up having some kind of curry aspect to it. It’s not normal crab which was disappointing. They also ask you how spices you want it…. When I said mild, it was still very spicy when it came out with the strange curry sauce. What happened to normal steamed crab with butter. People just want normal crab and butter. I was very disappointed in the food. Service was fantastic though!

I would not recommend Joes Crab Shack in Fort Meyers. The place was not clean, tables left uncleared. Service was very poor, food was decent, the are a crab leg restaurant and had no crackers clean to crack the crab legs. Overall very disappointing experience we will not go back.

New Year’s eve we always get Crab and Seafood. So I was looking for a restaurant that would have something along those lines. We found this place and I was so excited!! I started reading all the reviews and then got a little discouraged but still wanted to try it out. It was an AMAZING place! The Waiter was super nice and attentive as much as she could be, it was busy there so I could understand not everyone would be getting the same service. The food was amazing! If you are reading this before trying it out, I would say go try it out! Don’t listen to all the bad reviews, I feel as if people don’t understand how a restaurant works when they are putting reviews in and they think when they walk in it’s all entitled to them. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 5 years and I will tell you, it’s not easy and the negative reviews probably never have worked in it before.

Wir waren hier an Weihnachten. Totaler Flob! Überfordertes Personal, Essen Mittel mäßig. Keine Reservierung vorhanden trotz monatelanger Vorbereitung. Wir setzten uns dann an die Bar und nahmen hier unser Dinner ein. Nie mehr!
