Jimmy Kelly fundó el restaurante en 1934, en medio de la Gran Depresión y un año después del fin de la prohibición, y se hizo una promesa a sí mismo y a sus comensales: servir un gran filete y un buen vaso de whisky y proporcionar un servicio atento. A major disappointment. This used to be a great steakhouse. First, they sat our party of four at a table for two. The server was overwhelmed. There were 5 tables in a small room. The Lemon Drop had a salted rim. When we asked for a new one they just poured the same drink in a sugar crusted glass. The Lemon Drop was salty. Dinner was ok. The steaks tasted good but were not hot or warm. Could barely handle the food on the small table. Ordered desert. Chocolate Cake. It was dry and tasted old. Server got better when guests left. Jimmy Kelly's charges $89.00 for a Porter House. They should be better than this

The two couples thoroughly enjoyed our time together and dinner tonight! Jimmy was an excellent waiter and very attentive. The meal was superb, and Ms. Ray was very thoughtful and delightful! Jimmy Kelly's Steakhouse is AMAZING! We will definitely be returning again real soon...

Consistently good food with several new recent additions. The service was impeccable. Pricing has noticeably been increased.

Our server made the whole dining experience very pleasing. The food was very good. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.

We only came here because we received a gift certificate years ago and plus we’d like to try every steakhouse (despite us not eating steak). We looked at the menu and we didn’t know what we would actually like. Our waiter was very accommodating when I asked if we could order Bar Bites as those items seemed more appealing to us. We ordered onion rings, lobster tacos, chicken bao buns, lobster fritters, prime sliders, and beef empanadas. Everything was delicious. Jeff was our waiter and he was really fabulous on Christmas Eve! Im very appreciative that they were able to accommodate us by letting us order Bar Bites without having to sit at the bar area. I’m very thankful for Jeff, valet, cooks, servers, and everyone who worked Christmas Eve.

Good service and we always love the ambiance and history of this old steakhouse. The food was above average with very ample portions. The salmon was good but the odd presentation of the fish on top of a very large mound of cold beets was off putting. Even the server commented about the beets and the entree presentation. Convenient and quick valet service.

The food was awsome as always, and service was great. I felt like we were in a closet. The area where we were had 3 tables and a Christmas tree. Problem was it was okay with just me and my husband, then the other tables begin to fill and I felt clostophic. The curtain that divided the room from a larger room was no noise barrier at all. Loud party on the other side of the curtain, we couldn't hear each other talk for the noise. We were seated on the top floor, stairs were another issue with my disabled husband trying to climb them, then go down.
