The Teng family welcomes you to our dining room, bar and bakery. We are a full service restaurant with an emphasis on the juicy dumplings. Our signature dish is the Small Juicy Steamed Dumpling, the pork dumpling with the soup inside. The extensive menu with dishes from Taiwan, Northern China and a few Sichuan dishes will suit the tastes of your family, friends and coworkers. Our quality dishes, excellent service and welcoming atmosphere make us the perfect restaurant for gatherings large or small. Jeng Chi is the house of joy.

Step into Jeng Chi for a culinary journey that includes beautifully paired dishes from Jeng Chi Restaurant & Bakery and wines from Precept Wine Company. Our presentation will consist of four courses and three wine pairings. Mocktail selection available. Vegetarian selection available. Seating is between 4:00pm and 8:00pm for parties of (1) or up to (10) guests. Reservations are encouraged. $59 pp inclusive for meal & bev pairings, tax & tip.

Jeng Chi has maintained its consistency since it first opened in the 1990s. While there are many newer restaurants serving similar items, we keep coming back here over the years. Our favorites are Small Juicy Dumplings, Green Onion Pancakes, Hot and Sour Soup, Egg Rolls.

The dumplings are wonderful, as was everything else. I liked the house-made gin & tonic, too.

Just inconsistent on some of the prep jalapeño blck bean was all jalapeño and no beans at all. Overweighted and not what I expected. No umami vibe that day.

Been there several times. Love the food and this is a go to place for our entire family. The dumplings are the best.

The food was good, which I expect from Jenn Chi. Our waiter, however, needed more training. I don’t know if he was new to the job or didn’t care. He left us for long periods of time, and we had to ask other servers to help us. For instance, we waited at least 20 minutes for our pre-dinner drinks. Only when I cancelled my cocktail order did we get the drinks. The waiter failed to bring hoisin sauce for the moo shu pork, and I had to ask another server to bring some. These are only two of the problems we experienced. I will return to Jeng Chi, because I like the food. But I hope I don’t get paired with this server again.

It didn’t feel like a warm or inviting place to spend time with our friends. The food was not great for me.

Our server was awful. She had a pitcher of water in her hand, and my husband asked for a refill. She started to walk to another table with the water without refilling my husband's glass. My fried called her back to fill my husband's glass. Then, my fried was on a separate check. When the bill came, she gave us 3 checks instead of 2, and the items on all 3 checks was completely wrong. Very poor service.

We always enjoy Jeng Chi! Great dumpling options! Like -they’re ALL great! Service is awesome and the wines pair nicely with the menu options!
