Restaurant is beautiful on the inside. Party of 8 arrived 30 mins prior to reservations and was able to be sat immediately. Service was extremely, extremely slow from ordering drinks to when we left after the meal. The meal was a disaster. 5 people ordered filets with lobster, ribeye, and a tomahawk steak. Steaks were either over cooked or under cooked, lobster was served under cooked as well. Sides were lukewarm/cold. Very unimpressed. It was a not a high end steak house. Definitely shouldn’t have paid that amount for such low quality food.

Amazing experience! Live Dj, good food & service! The ambiance was even better! Just need a little more help in the Valet dept. But overall, the experience was very enjoyable, I’ll definitely go back!

Went here for dinner on a Sunday night & was met with atrocious service. Our server, T, was inexperienced, slow & blamed her other staff members for her lack of effort. The manager was making excuses & telling me, the customer, that I hurt T’s feelings… nope, if you can’t do your job, you shouldn’t be hired for it. I also suggested he implements more training given the restaurant was new, but of course that won’t be necessary as this will not be a sustainable business. I ordered a quesadilla… it came out after almost 90 minutes colder than a refrigerated one. I was hit with the “kitchen is backed up.” … no girl, you let it sit there. We were there for over two hours & had two drinks a piece ($20 drinks mind you…). I wouldn’t let a dog eat here, much less a human. Both bartenders were extremely kind & I hope they find a new place to work ASAP.

Javier’s was everything my daughter was looking for when looking into a picturesque place to take beautiful photos as well as offer a great ambiance for her 21st Birthday!! The staff were very welcoming. The parking was a bit of a headache but it’s downtown so you can expect that. It was also an event going on at ford field. Besides that it was perfect. Not a big selection for kids so if you have picky little eaters they may not enjoy it. But great spot for a date night, Birthday dinner etc.

We visited as a group of 8 and were really looking forward to a good experience, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. We ordered drinks and entrées, but only 4 of the 7 drinks arrived correctly, and even those were sent back because they tasted off—these were from the special menu, so we had higher expectations. The food was no better. The crab cakes were dry, and the salmon salad was brought out without the salmon. A medium-well steak was served looking more like charcoal, and the blackened salmon with black beans tasted bland—almost like cardboard with mango tossed on top. On top of that, the service left a lot to be desired. The servers came off as snobby, which made an already bad experience worse. For the prices we were paying, we expected much better food and service. Unfortunately, this is not a place we’d return to or recommend.

At first, I thought this was the same Javier's as Las Vegas, but it couldn't be more opposite. We showed up 10 minutes before our reservation time, and it still took us about 10 minutes to be seated. Not because the restaurant was full, but because the hostess was gone for a while. We were sitting down for 26 minutes waiting for our server, absolutely no one came up to us to mention that they will be right with us. We grabbed the attention of a manager and a bus boy to get our server, both of them did not do that. We then flagged down a bartender, Anthony. After hearing our complaints he took care of us immediately & even took our food order. He was the one single GOOD thing about our dinner. Ordered queso for appetizer, it was not piping hot, and it was a thick pudding-type cheese concoction, it was so gross. I ordered the brush Street salad, and per the menu I opted for grilled chicken. When they served it, it was just microwaved shredded chicken, which totally ruined the salad. It was so disgusting. $18 margaritas were okay, def not worth that price. I did share my comments with Anthony, and he said that he would forward that along to the chef and the manager. But we were very disappointed that the manager never came over to our table to apologize for the experience or acknowledge what was going on. I could tell that the main manager was terribly busy, all the employees there were so incredibly busy so it was very obvious they were shortstaffed. When you walk into the restaurant, to the left is the main dining area, and to the right is a dimly lit lounge/restaurant area. If I ever come back here, I will try the lounge area to see if there's a different vibe there. They have wayyy too many kinks to work out. Huge shout out to Anthony - he was the only employee to acknowledge our extremely poor experience.

First time a Javier last night with a table of 8 people. This upscale restaurant is very pretty loved the look. The food is great, I had fish tacos and my husband had filet. We enjoyed! The queso dip is awesome and my friends enjoyed the chicken and burrito’s. Drinks great too….. but the service was really bad not that the server didn’t try but she was to slow for whatever reason. The price is a little high for dinner and two drinks . Anyways I would recommend for the food but have patience with the service.
