Janken presents New Years Eve 2025. Leave last year’s worries and troubles behind during the first seating of Janken New Years on Tuesday, December 31st. Guests will enjoy a Japanese-Korean Fusion sharing-style meal ordered a la carte, featuring one night only menu specials. The first seating will accept reservations from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. $139 per person towards food and/or beverage is paid at booking and refundable up to 72 hours before your reservation day and time. 20% service charge will be added on all parties.

Service was impeccable, it just goes to show how a dining experience can go from zero to 100 just like that due to service. Maria was our server for the night and she was next level. It’s our first time traveling to Portland and it just made the trip that much more worth it. The food was a 4/5 flavors were on point very well balanced. Ambience was great, beautifully designed. And the drinks were delicious. I normally don’t sip on cocktails but the Litchi martini was perfectly balanced. Lovely first dining experience on our first night out.

The pork belly and salmon carpaccio are delicious. Love the crème brûlée. The lobster is very disappointing. The server is very attentive and pleasant. The service charge included in the bill is simple.

The food and service are amazing. Not a typical Portland crowd or experience at all, not necessarily bad, just more like a Miami vibe from the crowd and all. But its a cool place to go to celebrate a special occasion and get amazing food and service.

All the food was excellent. Our server Aliyah was delightful and very helpful. One of the best meals we have had in Portland.

The food at Janken is on-point. Every bite better than the next. Our table split a dozen different dishes just to get as much out of the experience as possible. The chef and staff did NOT disappoint. My self and my 7 outta town guests thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

Janken is awesome. The only weird things are their lack of a decent waiting area and if you sit at the bar then you can’t transfer your tab to your table …. those two things are for lack of a better word, kind of “janky”.
