Jang – the name stemming from the Korean word for sauce – is where the flavours of Seoul meet the spirit of Kyoto, all within a Grade I Listed London landmark.

Taking flavours from her hometown of Gwangju as well as impressions from Seoul, Kyoto and beyond, head chef Dana Choi has created a menu that champions techniques from both countries, using the best of British produce.

Set right in the heart of the City, Jang is open for lunch and dinner, Monday to Friday. This is an intimate and sumptuous space with nods to Asian heritage throughout and is just as well suited for a corporate catch-up or a business dinner as a long lunch or a date night.

Our Taste of Jang menu is back for 2025, offering a selection of chef Dana's favourite plates at an outstanding price point. Every weekday at lunch and dinner, you can take your pick from Korean Fried Chicken, our Tofu Jeon and a selection of freshly-made sushi, followed by steak, salmon or mushroom bibimbap, finishing with a sweet treat from the trolley. It's priced at £29 for two courses or £33 for three it's available at lunch and dinner, every week from Monday to Friday.

Celebrate the end of the working week with our shiny new sushi menu and raise a glass of Champagne in its honour. Every Friday from now until the end of February we’ll be offering our whole list of Champagnes with a 50% discount (that’s glasses from £7.50 each AND bottles from £37.50 a pop) plus there will be a special price available for our Chef’s Sushi & Sashimi Selection. Available at lunch and dinner every Friday*, join us and soak in the opulent surroundings of The Royal Exchange while you feast. *Excludes dinner service on Friday 14th February

Beautiful setting, great service and relaxed environment. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and it is certainly worth trying for a completely different taste experience.

From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect mix of beautiful decor. The food was outstanding, everything was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. We tried Jang KFC, Yuk Hwe steak tartare, K-BBQ, Spicy Miso Black Cod and it was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, attentive, always ready to explain the menu and make great recommendations. The service was prompt, and we never felt rushed, which made our dining experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Korean cuisine!
