We have been to J. Theodore for lunch before and appreciated the ambiance, good food and great service. We sat outside so had no idea how LOUD dining inside would be. We had reservations for 5 (family lunch) and asked for a quiet table since one guest is hard of hearing. We were seated right under a speaker. I asked a couple of staff if they could turn down the music volume…not realizing there was a live DJ! Everyone - including the wait staff - had a very difficult time hearing across the table! Food was okay. Service was great, as always.

I love their menu, a variety for everyone. A little more pricey than required for the offering. Mussels were delicious, paired when with the fries to create a moules-frites. Hummus dip, Taziki was the best ever, and red pepper spread was distinguished. My guest enjoyed the lobster in a jar starter. A neighborhood gem for sure!

My husband and I enjoyed Valentine's Day lunch. Our cocktails were delicious and frothy! The food was tasty and well prepared. It was a nice lunch for a special occasion.

I love this place, but I just don’t like how you unable to pick your own spot where you wanna sit when there is open tables the whole time we were sitting there eating
