This was our first visit here, and it was on New Year's Day. We were told that they were short-staffed. We had dined at Iron Hill in Voorhees, NJ, and were delighted to see one open near our home in Allentown, NJ. We arrived at our reservation time of 1:30. Perhaps 30% of the tables were full. The hostess informed us that our table needed to be cleared (??) and as mentioned, that they were short-staffed. We waited around ten minutes to be seated. Our waitress came to our table rather promptly and was congenial and courteous. She took our order for drinks, and they came in a reasonable amount of time. She then took our order for food, which came in an expected amount of time. The food was very good. HOWEVER, after that, we needed to take a picture of our waitress and place it on the side of a milk carton, We could not find her for as much as an hour, and finally flagged her down to order a round of drinks. We finished our meal after that with no sign of the second round. We finally canceled the drinks, paid, and left, without the ice cream for our grandsons that was a part of their meals. Maybe they can improve the service there, but we will not be witnesses to that happening or not.

If you’re familiar with the Iron Hill chain the experience here is what you will expect from the chain: quality food and brews with fairly reasonable prices. The atmosphere at this location feels more like mass produced chain restaurant than other Iron Hill locations. Even with a louder more energetic vibe the dinner was a good experience.

Great service and atmosphere. Unfortunately, the quality and quantity of food is poor. The menu was revised about a month ago and the food selection and quality has regressed. Great beer and drink selection.

I’d heard all good things about Iron Hill and was excited to try it. The food was just awful. The chicken was way over cooked, and so was my daughter’s burger. I will definitely not go back.

Typical chain experience. If you’re looking for a genuine brewery experience patronize one of our local breweries, otherwise it’s a mall dining experience.

It was Christmas Eve so I definitely get the staff not wanting to be there but for someone who worked retail for many years a customer should never see that demeanor. We came in two guys at the front desk were busy talking to each other to acknowledge us. My husband who was trying to make small talk with the gentleman about how nice it was they were opened Christmas Eve made a snarky remark to us. Again I get it your working Christmas Eve it’s not quite the customers fault your company decided to keep the establishment open. already made reservations and indicated on reservation we had someone celebrating a birthday. No mention during the evening of the birthday. Waitress was first very off putting but tried her best to turn her original attitude around as the night progressed. The food was good as it usually is, soda was weirdly flat like someone forget to change the machine. My older son went to the bar cause he wanted to order a flight and pay for himself (because he is stubborn) they refused him at the bar and said that would be handled at the table. I guess we didn’t get the big deal about it.

Enjoyable meal with good customer service. The server forgot to enter our appetizer, but the manager comped it without our requesting it.
