Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

First time visit. We were seated not far from front door, right next to the busy bar area. So it was cold, drafty — and noisy. We asked to be moved to another table, but manager said they could not accommodate us and was not apologetic. (Noise level overall in the dining room was pretty high.) Food was pretty solid, but not spectacular. Service was very professional and attentive. Wouldn’t rule out giving it another try some time, but not in any rush to return based on the ambience.

A lovely dining experience. Good menu, everyone enjoyed their meal. Our waiter Elvis was very attentive. Delicious food, excellent service. Will go back for sure

We had a wonderful, delicious lunch and the service old not be better. The menu is perfect with a variety of great selections.

Very good experience..outstanding food and wonderful service! The decor is quite contemporary and I prefer cozy but otherwise it was a great experience and I’d return!

We visited IL Sorrento with the Plastic Pistols team to celebrate the New Year, and it was an excellent experience. The ambience was modern yet cozy, the food was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly respectful. A great spot for a special occasion!
