Since I was 13 years old, I've been in the restaurant industry. I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. I've lived in Westchester since 1984 & have always dreamed about opening an Italian restaurant here .. now the dream is a reality. My family & I believe that having a successful restaurant is a simple formula - give people what they want: Good Food, Good Service and Good Value. At IL Sorrento, we are embracing old world charm of Southern Italy & bringing it to Westchester County. Our hope is that you will enjoy being at IL Sorrento as much as we will enjoy serving you

This was our first time dining at this new restaurant. The food was fantastic and the attention paid by all staff was incredible. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and will be back

I enjoyed my meal , a bit overpriced for shrimp, a bit of lobster over risotto. It very tasty But not great. and my daughter had lobster ravioli which was delicious. I did not like where they seated us . It was right next to the waiters station for ordering so there were always waiters almost on top of us. They said we couldn’t have a table for 4 , as we were only 2 . I understood this since it was a holiday , however the middle section of tables for 4 was completely completely empty the whole time and up until we left. I may go back. I’m not sure.

Went there with my family for Christmas eve, Place where packed, We wait a bit for table (wich is very normal in that high end restaurant) Food was excellent, Service on top my water glass was filled in almost every 3 sips, Great wine list, Prices where amazing super fair, Great ambiance Cant wait to see you guys again Great job

Went for Christmas Day lunch with the family, party of 12 - food and service were top notch, homemade pasta can’t be beat. Highly recommend!!

First time there Xmas Eve, lil disappointed over wait with reservations, 25 minutes. Ordered fried calamari appetizer lil small on the portion size. Then Entree chicken scaparella. The sausage was few and far between and not browned enough, the chicken was giant hard to chew tough pieces and side of broccoli was so hard could eat it. The flavors were incredible though. Im going to try again being it was so packed and probably over booked.

We went on Christmas Eve. First visit for us. Food was great. Despite having a reservation, we were required to wait to sit at our table. There was a very large party seated next to us and I guess due to poor planning, we were asked to move our table closer to the table on the other side of us so that the larger party could be accommodated (they had to add another table). This made seating very, very tight and the noise level was loud. I would go back but on a much quieter night.

Beautiful ambiance, impeccable service, great food!! Came for a family birthday dinner and enjoyed the entire experience. We will be returning!

We celebrated my birthday 🎂. Everything was just great. Food was excellent. Except the filet minion....Octopus was delicious, squid 🐙 ink linguine- excellent, chicken 🐔 Martini, risotto with seafood- all was super! Will definitely come again. Very satisfied 😌
