   First, Italian restaurant that I can remember not serving bread as part of the meal that we ordered. Second, the prices were relatively steep.

   The steak was terrible, but the rest of the food was awesome. Our server was incredibly good and definitely added to our experience. We were seated upstairs, which made it a lot quieter than being seated in the courtyard where sound is bouncing off all of the hard surfaces. The only problem is we were seated right by the stairs and one of my guest s Was practically sitting inside curtains because there wasn’t enough room for the table. Would I go there again? Yes but I would select who I would take with me because it’s not the most impressive.

   The restaurant had timing issues delving our salads before our drinks: the drinks came but the order was wrong - before we started on our salad our entrees showed up which we asked for them to be held in the kitchen until we finished our salads. I ate about 1/2 of my overpriced chicken dish and immediately got stomach sickness . This was not a good experience.

   First of all the staff is wonderful, a real delight. We had oysters ( no cocktail sauce, no west coast oysters which was slightly disappointing ) but everything was fantastic. The beef filet my friend had was cooked perfect. My pasta, Cacio e Pepe was so good. All meals came out piping hot, which I love. The place is small and this seemed to lend to our meals being so perfectly cooked. We Will Be Back !
