   The food is consistent and always great. The entire staff is welcoming and professional. Best Italian food hands down. Have been there numerous times and always impressed.

   We have been here for dinner many times and if never disappoints. On April 5 visited to celebrate my wife's birthday. Henry our server made some recommendations from the specials menu which were delicious. The tempura shrimp was tasty and our dinners were excellent bot the halibut and the stuffed calamari. The team ended the night with a birthday desert and a chorus of happy birtday which was excellent end to a nice evening. We will continue to come back, everything is always great.

   Everything we ate was delicious! We started with the Beet salad and the Bread Crumb brick oven pizza and both did not disappoint. We then had the Pesto sauce with shrimp over fusilli and seafood clams, mussels and shrimp over linguini. We ended with the Pistachio Oreo cheese cake and Pistachio gelato. The martinis were made perfect. The waiter Paul provided excellent service and made some great suggestions. We definitely will be returning.

   Our first time there - was a perfect 10 !!! The food was superb & our server Paul was an absolute delight …. IL Colosseo is without doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in Monmouth Cty. Can’t wait to go back for another awesome dinner !!! Kenny M

   Food and service was amazing as always. Ambiance is always great, restaurant is very clean. Live band playing they were fantastic!

    Reservation was for a specific time, we waited 30 minutes past the time, and then the food came out slow. I assumed understaffed but not sure. Kitchen seemed behind. Should reduce the open tables if understaffed so people can enjoy the experience better. Food was excellent and wait staff was also great but took longer than expected.
