Iavarone's Steakhouse and Italian Grill in Tampa, Florida is a family restaurant with a diverse menu. A traditional steak house with a unique Italian flare. All of the beef here is from grain-fed cows in the Midwest. It's carefully aged USDA Choice and is kept in-house at least four to six days before being served. Since 1948, Iavarone's Steakhouse and Italian Grill has offered guests an extensive selection of steaks like the NY strip, 12-oz. rib eye bone-in, 12-oz. T-bone and the filet mignon.

The food was delicious and the food was great however we were seated in a banquet room overflow area and there was only one other table seated st the time. The atmosphere was not vibrant or inviting upstairs but downstairs it was completely different so we will go back to visit.

When our family used to go to Ivaroni’s in the 90’s and later the food was always great, portions were generous and the value was good. Sorry to be down on this restaurant as it’s a long standing local ran eatery but for the premium cost I expected far more. My favorite, Grouper Picatta dish there was half the size of what I expected. Being generous, it was 5 oz at the most. It was good except for $35 it wasn’t enough. Ivaroni’s offers a salad with the meal which is nice as well as delicious bread. The salad was watery and barely filled small plate. Again, too small. My wife ordered Cod with crab stuffing. Unlike my Grouper which tasted good, hers was tough and not much flavor. The marinara side was in a very small dish. It was fine but not enough pasta compared to what other Italian restaurants offer.

We have been dining at Iavarone’s for decades. Always a real pleasurable experience. We have been there for many birthday & anniversary celebrations. We have brought many family visitors & local friends. Recommend it a lot. Great food. Excellent service both at the bar & in the dining areas.

We decided to go to Iavarone’s instead of our usual favorite Italian restaurant. We made a reservation and when we arrived were told we would have to sit in a “half booth” or wait awhile for the table. I wished we had waited, but we didn’t and were shoved in a noisy corner in the back. Service was slower than usual, but the restaurant was busy. Our server did a great job under the circumstances. The food was as expected-we come here 1-2 times/year. The most disappointing part was the wine was awful, and the coffee (which we have for dessert) was burnt. We left and went home for coffee. I ended up wishing we went to our old standby.

Great work by valet team and our server, Preston, was excellent. My steak however (a $67 bone in ribeye) was subpar. Done perfectly, but riddled with gristle and fat. The cream corn was very average, and my Caesar salad tasted great but included some wilted romaine leave. Great restaurant usually, guess we caught them on an off night? PS They also ignored the fact that we’re celebrating a 95th birthday at dinner, which I thought was a little odd.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the staff provided exceptional service. We especially enjoyed the Bourbon Glaze Atlantic Salmon, Chicken Piccata – it was truly outstanding.

We had a party of 6, and most of us had eaten several times at Ivararone's. It was the second time my wife and I had the pleasure. We have eaten at some of the country's best-known steakhouses and restaurants, and I was impressed with the value and quality of the food. But it was the service that was exceptional and really stood out to me. Garrett was our server, and it was an absolute pleasure to have such a professional service in this day and age. He presented himself very well, was polite, and attended to all of our needs quickly and efficiently. The only thing that stopped me from awarding Ivarone's 5 stars across the board was the overall condition of the restaurant. Although it was clean, it seemed dated and needed some renovations to bring it to the next level. Ivararone's is on our short list of local restaurants that we will continue patronizing and recommending to our friends and family.
