This was hard one-overall 3 star. Food was 4 star, the service very slow 2 star-fair at best. We had resys for 4. Enjoyed many happy hours w friends prior. Our spouses 1st time in and we chose dining room. The server was friendly, however it took 45 min for them to be served cocktail. My gf and I had grabbed our cocktail prepared by Kevin, best bartender in town before our 6:30 seating. Steve, the mngr did bring the table lite bite tasting to enjoy while we waited on our entrees. He also checked in on us after it was mentioned service was slow,, sometimes it’s unavoidable during holidays, that is why we chose Thursday. One of the guest steak was overcooked and not rare as requested. The mngr was kind enough to comp it since we all had our entrees in front of us. Salmon Caesar was lovely, and other two steak entrees delicious. Hyde park is a gem here in town, would return for Happy Hour, unsure for formal dining.

There were nine of us. We all tried each other‘s food and all was excellent, except the potatoes were too salty. Great waiters. Fun event!
